The Euro League Baseball has released a tentative schedule for the 2016 season. Opening day would be scheduled for April 4. The playoffs would start on August 29 and the championship series after the European Championship on September 23.
The schedule leaves room for the European Champions Cup in early June, the Haarlem Baseball Week in July and for the 2016 Euros in September. Nonetheless playoffs at the end of August/early September probably won’t go well with national team coaches, which at that time would like to have their players for training camps and pre-Euro tournament ahead of the continental championship in Hoofddorp.
The schedule is most likely still a work in progress project, as game times and dates need to be finalized and fitted into domestic schedules. So far the Rouen Huskies, Templiers Senart, Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg, Haar Disciples, Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam, L&D Amsterdam, T&A San Marino, Unipol Bologna, Bonn Capitals and Draci Brno are set to field teams in the Euro League Baseball.
