Holland Series continues on Friday evening after Rainout on Thursday

Posted on September 17, 2015September 17, 2015 by philipp

The Holland Series between Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam and Corendon Kinheim continues on Friday evening due to a rainout on Thursday.  Game one and two were lopsided results, as Curacao Neptunus won 7-1 and 9-2.

Benjamin Dille scored four times and drove in four in both games combined. He was a double shy of the cycle in the second match. Starting pitchers Diegomar Markwell and Orlando Yntema each pitched through the eighth inning. Kinheim welcomes back Tom Stuifbergen and needs to find a better way to stop the Rotterdam offense.

If Corendon wins one of the next two games, a potential game five on Sunday would be moved to 1pm, as television has announced its attendance.

Schedule:

Friday, September 18, 2015:
19:30 Corendon Kinheim – Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam

Saturday, September 19, 2015:
14:00 Corendon Kinheim – Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam

Sunday, September 20, 2015:
13:00 Corendon Kinheim – Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam
