In the Austrian Baseball League the Diving Ducks stunned regular season winner Dornbirn Indians and reached the finals. The club from Wiener Neustadt won the best-of-seven semi-final series 4-1. Dornbirn had been able to win game three in lopsided fashion on Saturday, but lost games four and five of the series 10-12 and 10-17 in a pair of high-scoring affairs. In the second semi-final, the Vienna Wanderers lead the Vienna Metrostars 3-2. The Wanderers also will have home field advantage in the next two games.
