Not only the matchup between Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam and Corendon Kinheim got interrupted and eventually suspended due to rain, but also the contest between L&D Amsterdam and the Vaessen Pioniers. They stopped playing at 2-2 in the top of the tenth. The Pioniers had erased an early 0-2 deficit with two runs in the top of the eighth. Rob Cordemans (AMS) and Ricardo Hernandez (PIO) were locked into a pitcher’s duel. Both games are expected to be continued on Saturday at 1pm prior to the regular 2pm game.
