The French National Team won the inaugural Flanders Invitational Baseball Tournament in Antwerp, Belgium this past weekend. The tournament was cut short due to the heavy weather conditions on Saturday, which forced the cancellation of the last two contests.
France defeated Belgium 9-8 on Thursday evening and Sweden 9-4 on Friday. Belgium defeated Sweden 5-4 and 10-6 in the other two games of the tourney.
