Italian Baseball League starts into Semi-Final Round Robin

The Italian Baseball League starts into the semi-final round robin. Unipol Bologna, ASD Rimini, Tommasin Padua and T&A San Marino qualified through the regular season. Per game day three instead of two games will be played, beginning this Thursday. Additionally Rai Sport 2 is going to broadcast one game per week.

In week one Bologna squares off against Padua and San Marino takes on Rimini (live at 21:00 at Rai Sport 2). Bologna won the regular season, is the defending champion and therefore the favorite to win again. All four teams added new foreign pitchers to reinforce their staffs. The top two qualify for the Italian Series, which will be played between September 3 and 13, 2015.
