In the Dutch Hoofdklasse another game needs to be re-played after the use of an illegal bat. KNBSB granted a protest by Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam after L&D Amsterdam’s Nick Urbanus used a bat in last week’s game, which hasn’t been on the CEB Bats List. KNBSB decided that the game needs to be continued with the score at 1-1 in the fifth inning. It’s basically the same outcome as a couple of days ago, when KNBSB granted a protest by UVV against the final result of their game against Mampaey The Hawks. Also in that case an illegal bat was allowed for use in the game.
