Regular Season ends in Italian Baseball League

The regular season in the Italian Baseball League will end this weekend. Unipol Bologna, ASD Rimini and Tommasin Padua are already qualified for the playoffs in the IBL, which will commence after the All-Star Game in Bologna next week. T&A San Marino and Nettuno will battle for the fourth spot, even though San Marino owns a one-game lead in the standings with just two games to go.

This coming weekend San Marino is playing a home-and-home series against ASD Parma. Nettuno has to travel to Bologna for a matchup against the first-place team and reigning champion. In the other matchups the Godo Knights play against Rimini and Padua goes to Rome for two games against Angel Service Nettuno 2.
