The German Baseball and Softball Federation (DBV) released the results of the online voting for the All-Star Game in the Baseball-Bundesliga this week. Robert Droege of the Hanover Regents was the surprise winner, edging out Ian Vasquez of the Mannheim Tornados and Wilson Lee of the Bonn Capitals in the online survey at www.baseball-bundesliga.de.

The All-Star Game will be played on July 12 at 2pm in Mannheim, honoring the 40 year anniversary of the Mannheim Tornados. The Bundesliga All-Stars will square off against the German National Team. Legionaere TV will broadcast the game live at www.sportdeutschland.tv/baseball. All-Star day in Mannheim will also feature a 3-on-3 home run derby ahead of the All-Star Game.
