Skokani Olomouc stuns Arrows Ostrava on Friday

Skokani Olomouc stunned Arrows Ostrava on Friday evening with an 8-5 win. Six combined runs between the fifth and the eighth decided the outcome. Eric Bryce and Jakob Vojak combined for six RBI. Lukas Vesely pitched seven solid innings for the win. Petr Cech collected three hits and two RBI for Arrows. Jan Tomek took the loss.

In the second game on Friday evening in the Czech Extraleague Draci Brno defeated Technika Brno 5-3, completing the two-game sweep. Draci erased a 0-2 deficit in the process, taking the win with five runs between the sixth and the eighth. Martin Schneider scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball. He later also had a RBI single. Nathan O’Bryan claimed the win in relief of Radim Chroust. Daniel Mraz had kept Draci scoreless through five-plus innings.
