Derbies in Prague and Brno kick off new Week in Czech Extraleague

On Wednesday evening Draci Brno defeated Hrosi Brno 8-2 in the Czech Extraleague to improve to 16-4 for the season. Petr Minarik struck out ten in six strong innings for the win. Tomas Polansky and Pavel Budsky scored twice.

Draci now owns a solid 3.5 game lead over Arrows Ostrava in the standings. Their evening schedule continues on Thursday and Friday with games against Technika Brno. Additionally a Prague derby between the Eagles and Kotklarka kicks off the new week in the Czech Extraleague. They will meet again on Saturday for a doubleheader.

On Friday evening Ostrava returns to the league following its third-place finish at the Buchbinder Cup with their opening match of a three-game series against Skokani Olomouc. In the fourth matchup Hrosi Brno hosts the Tempo Titans Prague.
