Results Spanish Division de Honor Baseball May 16 & 17, 2015

In the Spanish Division de Honor CBS Sant Boi dominiated both games against CB Barcelona. Zael Honora set a new club record with his 344th strikeout, passing Yoel Hernandez. He issued just three hits, a run and two walks in nine innings in a 7-1 win in game one. Prospect Ramon Rosso took the loss after walking seven batters in 5 2/3 innings. In game two Gerard Plana and two relievers kept Barcelona to two hits for a 6-1 victory. 4

The other two championship contenders also swept their opponents this weekend. The Tenerife Marlins prevailed 7-2 and 3-2 over Baseball Navarra. The Astros Valencia celebrated a pair of 7-4 wins against San Inazio Bilbao. CD Pamplona and CB Viladecans split a doubleheader.
