In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the first half of the regular season already ended with the Solingen Alligators leading the standings in the north and the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg in the south. The Bonn Capitals remain in contact with Solingen thanks to a pair of lopsided wins over the Dortmund Wanderers. In the 20-0 blowout in game one, Max Schmitz pitched a seven-inning no-hitter. Bradley Roper-Hubbert drove in ten runs in the twin bill.
The Alligators meanwhile rode a 7-for-7 performance by Tanner Leighton to a sweep over the Cologne Cardinals. Regensburg won twice against the Tubingen Hawks due to timely hits of the youngsters Pascal Amon, Marcel Jimenez and Nino Sacasa.
Also the Haar Disciples celebrated a sweep to improve to 8-6 for the season. The Mainz Athletics split against the Mannheim Tornados, the Hamburg Stealers against the Untouchables Paderborn and the Stuttgart Reds against the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe.
