Last month for the first time ever a Team Europe was selected and played a two-game exhibition series against World No. 1 Japan at the Tokyo Dome. Managed by Steve Janssen the selection of the best European players, which are not playing for MLB teams (since they were in Spring Training), split the two games. Lots of media was on hand in Tokyo. Eurosport 2 broadcasted the games live throughout Europe. Czech TV also send a couple of reporters to the Tokyo Dome to do a short documentary. It aired on Monday and is now available as video on demand on the web.
