Baseball season in Kiev baseball League (Ukraine) will start with 9 Teams. For reference – in 2014 it was played with 7 teams, and in first year of League (in 2013) it was 4 teams. Due the annually increasing of teams played in Kiev baseball Championship, the staff decided to start new system of League, where will be 2 divisions:

  • Major League KBL – 5 teams
  • Minor League KBL – 4 teams

This year all 9 teams will play once with each other team and then, due the results, will be formed Major League KBL and Minor League KBL. Due the finals results of KBL 2015, the teams will start to play in 2016 in majors or in minors.

Season will start on 04 April 2015, with one game of Super Cup of KBL, in which “Shemly” (Champions of KBL 2014) will play against “Alligators” (winner of CUP of KBL 2014). Regular games of KBL will start 28 April 2015 and will be finished in middle of September 2015.
