Posted on February 27, 2015February 27, 2015 by philipp

The Athletics Attnang-Puchheim have signed Californian players Jimmy Jensen and Melvin Perdue for the upcoming season in the Austrian Baseball League according to a blog post of Bleacher Wisdom a week ago. Jensen is a 23-year-old right-handed pitcher who is coming from the Tri-Valley MSBL, a Californian Baseball League. He had an ERA of 0.38 in 95 1/3 innings and batted .456 on route to a league MVP title last year. Perdue is a 30-year-old utility player. He is familiar to European Baseball, as he played four seasons for the Vos Cardinals in the Netherlands. He batted .470 through four years with Vos. He also served as head coach and as an instructor at one of the Dutch baseball academies.
