With the great help of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, in collaboration with the City and State of Valencia, Spain, Valencia will host an U19 National Baseball Team event in the 2015 Torneo de Béisbol de Valencia, a six-nation tournament sponsored by the Dodgers held in Valencia from Feb. 24 to March 1, 2015.

All parties involved envision that this tournament will become an annual event that will come to be the official opening of the baseball season in Europe. The event will be awarding trophies for the top two finishers; emphasis however will be placed more on physical and mental preparation for the season than results of these games. The coaching staffs and players will make the most of their time in Valencia.

The tournament is sanctioned by and has the full support from the Confederation of European Baseball. The CEB Umpire Commission will bring in two CEB AAA umpires in this event. CEB tournament rules will apply.

The great coordinator for this event in Valencia is Juan García Puig , LAD International Scout and Coach of the local baseball club Valencia Astros.
