GB Baseball accepting Applications for National Cadets Head Coach, Operations Manager

The British Baseball Federation is accepting applications for the positions of Head Coach and Operations Manager for the National Cadet (U16) Team, part of GB Baseball.

Both are volunteer positions, but all reasonable expenses will be paid. If you have what it takes to step up to an elite level of coaching or team management, GB Baseball wants to hear from you.

HEAD COACH

GB Baseball is the elite level of the game in this country, and the requirement is for a youth-focused Head Coach at the top of his or her game.

The main duties of the Head Coach are:

To develop, in line with GB Baseball practice, an ongoing training programme for the Cadet team.
To work with the other GB team staff to further develop the entire GB programme.
To promote and, where possible, aid in raising funds for Team GB.
To achieve targets as outlined by the BBF.
To attend and run all Cadet training events.
To communicate effectively with all players and families.
To travel as the team’s Head Coach to international competitions.
To work within welfare guidelines as outlined by the BBF.
