Posted on February 5, 2015February 5, 2015 by philipp

Shortly after announcing the signing of pitcher Takuro Sugio, the Cologne Cardinals revealed the acquisition of two more Japanese players for the 2015 roster in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. 27-year-old catcher Takeru Sorita will follow in the footsteps of Dallas Burke behind the plate. 19-year-old outfielder and pitcher Ryusei Hirotaka will be promoted from the third-division team to the Bundesliga. He already played in a couple of play-down games last year.
