Japan replaces Team USA on Roster of 2015 World Port Tournament

Posted on January 27, 2015January 27, 2015 by philipp

Team USA is not coming to the 2015 World Port Tournament. Due to a heavy schedule USA Baseball asked organizers to withdraw their participation in the biannual international baseball tournament. Japan will instead send a team to the Family Stadium in Rotterdam. The other four teams will be the Netherlands, Cuba, Chinese Taipei and Curacao. The 15th edition of the WPT will take place from July 18 to 26. Japan will participate for the third time. It is not yet known what team Japan will send.
