German RHP Lukas Steinlein remains with Haar Disciples

Posted on January 7, 2015January 7, 2015 by philipp

The Haar Disciples announced on Wednesday that right-handed pitcher Lukas Steinlein will remain with the club for the 2015 season. The right-hander created interest among other German Baseball-Bundesliga clubs, but decided to stay in the southeast of Munich. He is now set as starter for game one each week. Additionally the club revealed that Ty Eriksen and Moritz Polixa will return to the roster of the first team. Eriksen no longer occupies a foreign player spot after rules for naturalized players have changed. Polixa returns after a year in Argentina, where he also played for a first-division team.
