Sascha Brockmeyer, Nils Hartkopf join Solingen Alligators for 2015 Season

The Solingen Alligators announced on Sunday evening that they have signed Nils Hartkopf and Sascha Brockmeyer for the upcoming season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. Both join Dominik Wulf at the hot corner of the reigning champion.

The 28-year-old Hartkopf already played for Solingen until winning the championship in 2006 and then left to win the title with the Mainz Athletics in 2007. Afterwards he also took the jersey of the Haar Disciples and the Bonn Capitals, where he played the past few years.

The 24-year-old Brockmeyer is coming from the Untouchables Paderborn. He finished his policeman trainee program and got assigned to a post in Solingen. Therefore a transfer became logical. Both will be introduced at a New Year’s gathering on January 17.
