Paul Macaluso joins Rimini for 2015 Season

Italian Baseball League vice champion Rimini not only added Stefano Desimoni to its outfield for next year, but also Paul Macaluso. The 33-year-old is coming from T&A San Marino. The American, who has a status as player of Italian school and therefore is not occupying a foreign player spot, also has played for Reggio Emilia and Parma in the IBL. He batted .293/.391/.520 with three home runs, eight doubles, 14 runs and 18 RBI in 20 games for San Marino this year.
