Another transfer of a player, who is leaving his hometown club in the Italian Baseball League. Stefano Desimoni is moving from Parma to Rimini. The outfielder is essentially replacing Mario Chiarini, who made the move to T&A San Marino. Desimoni said after the announcement, “It was the most painful decision of my life.” Winning youth championships with Parma he spent 10 seasons at the top level in Italian baseball with the club, winning the scudetto in 2010. In Rimini he will be reunited with former Parma players Leonardo Zileri, Riccardo Bertagnon and Roberto Corradini.
