After keeping Great Britain in the A-Pool with a ninth place finish at the 2014 European Championship, Sam Dempster has stepped down as manager of the British National Team. The MLB Envoy Coach and head coach of Durham College in Ontario led Great Britain to B-Level European Championship titles in 2011 and 2013 and also coached the team in the 2012 World Baseball Classic Qualifier. The British Baseball Federation hopes that he maintains in contact with British baseball as a consultant.
