Baseball Switzerland – MrBB Dreamteam 2007

The Swiss Baseball League is a collection of talented Swiss prospects, Latin players, and too many older recreational players. Still – there are some exciting games when the few good teams clash, especially in the playoffs. Mr. Baseball presents the 2007 Swiss Baseball League Dream Team.

Catcher – Tobias SIEGRIST, Zurich C.
Hit .400 (30 hits) with two HR and 9 stolen bases.

Infield – Johnny PERIGO, Bern
Enjoyed MVP season with .554 mark, 6 HR and 11 doubles.

Infield – Tom HUSTON, Reussbuhl
A .525 hitter (21-for-40) with four home runs.

Infield – Chico COLINDRES, Zurich B.
Connected for 10 doubles while hitting .457.

Infield – Raphael HAENZI, Bern
Hit .436 for the two-time defending Swiss champs.

Infield – Sebastian ZWYER, Therwil
Led the league in runs (30) and stolen bases (14).

Outfield – Thomas LANDIS, Zurich C.
Veteran All-Star quietly hit .458 with 33 hits.

Outfield – Jose RAMIREZ, Lausanne
Slugger led league with seven HR while adding 11 doubles.

Outfield – Juan CASIMIRO, Lausanne
Led league in hits (34) and doubles (13) while hitting .472.

Outfield – Rene PLUESS, Reussbuhl
Hit five dingers to go with .466 mark.

Outfield – Rodolfo VARGAS, Embrach
The Rainbows main weapon hit .462 (24-for-52).

Pitcher – Christoph BEYELER, Bern
Was 6-0 with 2.26 ERA.

Pitcher – John BAUM, Bern
5-1 with a 0.65 ERA.

Pitcher – Stefan KOLLER, Therwil
5-2 with a 2.23 ERA for fomer Swiss power.

Pitcher – Peter SOSKIN, Reussbuhl
Has registered 94 strikeouts and a 5-3 record with a 1.68 ERA.

Pitcher – Harry BREGY, Zurich C.
Lefty is 5-1 with 2.31 ERA for title contenders.
