MLB-
Didi Gregorius, Arizona Diamondbacks. Netherlands.
Current team: Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB)
Eleven for his last 34, including two homers and two stolen bases. Hitting .254 in 126 big league at bats for the season – 11 extra base hits, 13 walks, 23 strikeouts, and 3/3 in stolen bases while playing what is generally regarded as very good defense at shortstop.
Donald Lutz, Cincinnati Reds. Germany.
Current team: Cincinnati Reds (MLB)
Serving mostly as a pinch hitter in the majors due to a number of injuries, rather than playing every day in the minor leagues as the organization has stated it wishes it could do, Lutz is contributing to the Reds playoff push. He’s hitting .250 over the last month, and .212/.278/.333 in 18 games and just 33 at bats overall at the top level. Four of his seven major league hits are doubles.
Triple A-
Roger Bernadina, Los Angeles Dodgers. Netherlands.
Current team: Albuquerque Isotopes (AAA)
Bernadina played only a couple more games since the last update before going on the minor league disabled list. In his 10 games in the Dodgers organization, he’s got a .400 on base percentage and two stolen bases.
Double A –
Kai Gronauer, New York Mets. Germany.
Current Team: Binghamton Mets (AA)
Gronauer last played in late July, and is on the disabled list again. Recurring phantom injuries… He has played 11 Double-A games, and has a home run amongst his six hits.
Alex Liddi, Los Angeles Dodgers. Italy.
Current team: Chattanooga Lookouts (AA)
After hitting .219 in 44 games with the Dodgers AAA team, Liddi was demoted to Double-A, where he’s hitting .271 in 18 games and is again listed as a third baseman.
Single A-
Lars Huijer, Seattle Mariners. Netherlands.
Current team: High Desert Mavericks (High-A)
Huijer’s last start on Monday was his best in a month – he went 5 innings, allowing only one hit and one run while recording the win. The higher elevation and higher level of competition are showing in his numbers – his ERA stands at 6.10 in 7 starts since his promotion. For the year Huijer has now thrown over 100 innings, winning 5, losing 7, walking 49, striking out 61, with an ERA of 4.65.
Max Kepler, Minnesota Twins. Germany.
Current team: Fort Myers Miracle (High-A)
Kepler is hitting .333 over his last 10 games, with only 3 strikeouts and 5 walks. He’s at .243/.322/.352 for the year, with 12 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, 28 walks, 49 strikeouts, and is 4/5 stealing in 267 at bats.
Dovydas Neverauskas, Pittsburgh Pirates. Lithuania.
Current team: West Virginia Power (A)
Neverauskas has had two strong outings his last three starts, ending July with a 7 inning, 4 hit game and a 6 inning, 2 run, no walk, 4 strikeout game. Yesterday he gave up 7 runs in 2.1 innings. In his 101.2 innings across 22 starts this season, he’s 5-10 with a 5.84 ERA, with 45 walks and 65 strikeouts.
Markus Solbach, Arizona Diamondbacks. Germany.
Current Team: South Bend Silver Hawks (A).
Solbach has made 9 starts in 11 total appearances, first in the Pioneer League and now in single-A Midwest League. He has 4 wins, 4 losses, and a 4.45 ERA. In 56.2 innings he’s struck out 39 while walking only 7.
Nick Urbanus, Texas Rangers. Netherlands.
Current team: Hickory Crawdads (A)
Urbanus has played 2 hitless games in the last two weeks. He’s hitting .200 in 120 at bats, and is 2 for 3 stealing. He is now listed as a shortstop for Hickory, rather than a second baseman.

Federico Castagnini, Baltimore Orioles. Italy.
Current team: Aberdeen Ironbirds (Short-A)
The Verona native has 3 doubles in his last 10 games. Between two levels this year he’s hitting .223/.298/.252 in 202 at bats.
Martin Cervenka, Cleveland Indians. Czech Republic.

Cervenka is hitting .125 in 16 games since his time in extended spring training, accumulating 56 at bats and stealing a base in his only attempt.
Marek Minarik, Pittsburgh Pirates. Czech Republic.

Minarik made his last two appearances in relief after starting in his first 8 appearances in short season. His one-inning appearance on Monday was his first without a walk, and he also struck out two. In 37 innings, he now stands at 1-4 with a 4.86 ERA and 21 walks to go with 21 strikeouts. He’s now listed as a member of the Bristol Pirates in rookie ball.

Arribas has heated up – he’s up to .290 on the season after hitting over .400 in his last 10 games. That time also includes two home runs and two stolen bases. He’s at .290/.389/.411 in 107 Bristol at-bats.

The outfielder has made his debut, with 7 games under his belt tallying 3 hits and a stolen base.

Gasparini is on the disabled list, appearing in only 3 games since our last update. He’s undoubtedly one of the, if not THE, youngest player in the Appalacian League this season. His hitting .197 and is 4-of-5 in stolen bases in 66 at bats.

In 13.1 innings across 9 games, Izold has allowed 19 hits and 7 walks with 9 strikeouts. His ERA stands at 7.43.
