Paris UC moved into sole possession for first place in the French Division I one week before the highly anticipated matchup against the Montpellier Barracudas. They defeated the Savigny Lions 14-1 and 11-1. Montpellier had to settle for a high-scoring split against the Rouen Huskies. Stade Toulousain split against the Beaucaire Chevaliers. The Templiers Senart defeated the French Cubs.
