28-year-old right-handed pitcher Jair Jurrjens, who got acquired by the Colorado Rockies from the Cincinnati Reds a couple of days ago, is back in Major League Baseball. On Friday he will pitch on Independence Day against the Los Angeles Dodgers, becoming the 13th different starting pitcher for the Rockies this season. It will be his first appearance in the big leagues since June 2013, when he pitched with the Baltimore Orioles.
