Dutch outfielder Kalian Sams, who got released by the Texas Rangers at the end of Spring Training, has joined a semi-pro league in Taiwan according to Honkbalsite.com. He is going to play for the Topco Scientific Falcons in the Popcorn League. The 27-year-old had played 16 games for the Camden River Sharks in the Atlantic League this year.
