Dutch National Team pitcher Jair Jurrjens has signed with the Cincinnati Reds. The 28-year-old right-hander impressed the MLB organization during a recent showcase and got assigned to the Minor Leagues. Following strong seasons in Major League Baseball in 2008, 2009 and 2011, Jurrjens has been struggling. Last year he appeared only in two games at the big league level with the Baltimore Orioles. In the Minors he had a combined ERA of 4.57 with the Detroit Tigers and Orioles organizations.
