Results Spanish Division de Honor Baseball May 17 & 18, 2014

In the Spanish Division de Honor the Tenerife Marlins swept CB Barcelona in a doubleheader on Saturday. In game one the Marlins scored five runs in the first three innings for an early lead en route to a 9-2 win. Jose Melendez, who homered, and Lester Galvan had three RBI each. In game two Tenerife put five runs on the board in the seventh to win 10-5. DJ Consuegra (Marlins) and Jose Luis Riera (CBB) hit home runs. Richard Montiel drove in three.

In the other three matchups the Astros Valencia stunned CBS Sant Boi in both ends of the doubleheader. Baseball Navarra won the derby against CD Pamplona. CB Viladecans and San Inazio Bilbao split a twin bill.
