Templiers Senart win Challenge de France 2014

The Templiers Senart have won the Challenge de France 2014. They defeated the Montpellier Barracudas 3-1 in the final game of the league cup tournament in Toulouse on Sunday. Veteran Pierrick Lemestre pitched a complete game to lead his team to the win. Florian Peyrichou hit a tie-breaking two-run home run in the sixth. With the Challenge victory Senart already has secured a European Cup spot in next year’s competitions. The Rouen Huskies finished in third place after an 8-2 win over Paris UC in the Game for Third Place.
