Year by year, situation in the Czech softball extraleage women is still the same. The champion will raise from one of the two finest temas. Egales or Joudrs. Both are from Prague. Who will champion the title this year?

As we said both teams are from Prague, but thats not the only thing that they have in common. They change the couch too.

Eagles Praha are the reigning champions. The final series was playing on best of five matches.Eagles were already loosing 0:2, but they succeeded to win. Eagles won three times a row or as Czechs like to called Goled Hattrick.

Coach of Eagles Praha in past season was Gabriel Waage, also President os Czech softball association, but this year new coach will be Michal Vojáček, former coach of prague team Kotlářka. „My greatest success is to keep people like softball and physical training,“ said Vojáček. Coach who ended up on third place last year with Kotlářka.

„Last season was one of the best of all time. It’s hard to make it better. We just need to try to keep it on this level,“ said Vojáček, who will be playing Extraleague men for his hometeam Radotínský SK as well.

Also the second rival Joudrs Praha has a new coach. Tomáš Kusý has been replaced with Michaela Kozlová. She has been known for her work as coach of Čechie team and also chzech junior women team. „We’re trying to raech the final both in league and cup. The final means medal and that is our goal,“ claimed Kozlová.

It is likely that those teams will meet in the final. On the other hand, there are lots of other teams waiting for theyi chances such as Kotlářka, Storms Řepy, Snails Kunovice and last but not least SaBaT Praha.

Newcomer of this season is team fro south czech Žraloci Ledenice. They played second league only for one year and they already succed to reach the top. Ledenice also hired a new coach from USA so we can assume that they will be competitive.
