Fortitudo Bologna cuts Pat Venditte, add Steve Moss to roster for Asia Series

Posted on November 4, 2013 by philipp

Fortitudo Bologna has made a couple of roster moves in preparation for the 2013 Asia Series “International Tournament of Champions”. They cut Pat Venditte and Carlos Richetti from the roster and added outfielder Steve Moss and pitcher Filippo Crepaldi. Moss is a 29-year-old Californian who played in the independent leagues the last couple of years. In 2013 he batted .324/.395/.542 with 14 home runs between the Atlantic League and the Mexican League. With the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners he had reached Triple-A. Crepaldi pitched for Palfinger Reggio Emilia this year. He had a 4-2 record with an ERA of 1.94 in 15 games (five starts). He struck out 55 and walked 20 in 69 2/3 innings.
