Five games were played in the Swiss Nationalliga A on Saturday. Reigning Swiss champion Bern Cardinals had to settle for a split against the Zurich Barracudas and dropped to second place in the standings. The Therwil Flyers took advantage and moved into first with a sweep over the Wil Devils. In the surprise of the weekend the Zurich Lions stunned the Zurich Challengers. Carlos Reyes led the Lions to a 10-9 win with four RBI.
