It’s the busiest month for national team action in European Baseball and Softball. And Prague, Czech Republic remains in the focus, as the European U18 Championship will be played from Sunday, July 14 to Saturday, July 20 at the Eagles and Tempo Titans facilities in the Czech capital.
France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Ukraine are set for Pool A, while Belgium, Czech Republic, Italy, Russia and Sweden are slotted into Pool B. The first two of each pool qualify for the semi-finals. The teams from Czech Republic and Italy later will also represent Europe in the IBAF 18U Baseball World Cup in Taichung.
The European U18 Championship in Prague will feature a couple of the best prospects in European Baseball, including recent MLB signees Ruar Verkerk, Rachid Engelhardt (both Netherlands), Marten Gasparini (Italy), Sven Schueller and Julsan Kamara (both Germany).
