In the Swiss Nationalliga A three matchups were played this weekend with the Therwil Flyers already on their way to the European Cup Qualifier in Senart, France. The Bern Cardinals, which earned quite some respect even though finishing winless in sixth place at the European Cup in Regensburg, returned to NLA action with 11-0 and 25-3 blowouts over the Zurich Lions on Saturday. On Sunday the Lucerne Eagles lost twice to the Zurich Barracudas and the Embrach Mustangs and Zurich Challengers shared victories.
