Italian Baseball League: Bologna, Rimini and Reggio Emilia win on Friday

In the Italian Baseball League three games were scheduled on Friday. Palfinger Reggio Emilia defeated Parma 7-2. Four runs in the second and three in the fourth put the game into the books. Erik Epifano drove in three. Davide Murari scored twice. Filippo Crepaldi earned the win, Niccolo Loardi took the loss.

Rimini completed a sweep over T&A San Marino, which travels to the European Cup struggling. Alex Romero hit his fourth home run of the season to pace the Pirates to a 5-3 win. Riccardo Bertagnon drove in the go-ahead run with a single in the fifth. Carlos Pezzullo got the win in relief. Chris Cooper was charged with the loss.

Unipol Bologna crushed the Godo Knights 10-4 to win their second game in as many days. Chris Aguila hit a grand slam in the first. Danilo Sanchez and Mattia Bucchi homered for the Knights. Carlos Richetti got the win as a reliever for Fortitudo, Matteo Galeotti the ā€œLā€.
