The Berlin Sluggers announced on Friday that the 24-year-old Californian Adam Greenberg joins the German Baseball-Bundesliga team. The left-handed pitcher and outfielder is coming from a college in San Diego and was batting .325 this past season. He will replace Jan Pojer in center field, who moved to Ireland for work-related reasons. Greenberg will arrive in Berlin on Friday and is expected to make his debut against the Dortmund Wanderers this weekend.
