In the Italian Baseball League Unipol Bologna remains undefeated after six weeks, improving to 12-0 for the season with a sweep over the Palfinger Reggio Emilia on Saturday. Telemarket Rimini follows in second place with a 10-2 mark. They won both games of a home-and-away series against Parma Baseball. Nettuno and the Godo Knights also celebrated two-win weekends. The biggest surprise of the game day was the split between the previously winless Novara and T&A San Marino. With their third loss the reigning champion dropped to third in the standings.
