Probably the two best teams from Switzerland of the last decade will square off this weekend in the Swiss Nationalliga A, when the Therwil Flyers host the Bern Cardinals for a doubleheader. The Flyers opened the season in impressive fashion sweeping the Zurich Lions on the road by a run differential of 36 to 1. The Cardinals weren’t able to play their opening matchup against the Embrach Mustangs due to rain. Therefore it will be especially interesting how the reigning champion gets out of the starting block. In the lone other Swiss NLA matchup the Zurich Lions take on the Embrach Mustangs.
