Preview: Tenerife Marlins host undefeated CD Pamplona

Posted on March 22, 2013March 20, 2013 by philipp

Granted CD Pamplona “just” played against El Llano, but still it were impressive 10-3 and 11-1 wins last weekend to open the Spanish Division de Honor season 2013. Gabriel Guerrero homered, Javier Flores collected six hits in the doubleheader and Alexis Fumero picked up the win in game one and three runs in game two.

Now CD is going to face a tough task, as the club will travel to the Canary Islands for a matchup against the Tenerife Marlins. Puerto Cruz returned home with a split from defending champion CB Barcelona and looks to get over .500 on game day number two. Additionally Baseball Navarra will host CBS Sant Boi and CB Viladecans welcomes San Inazio Bilbao in the 2013 season. The Astros Valencia travel to Gijon. Barcelona will have the bye.
