$5 Tickets Available for Either of Tuesday’s World Baseball Classic Games with Grapefruit League Ticket

Fans attending a 2013 Grapefruit League Spring Training game in Florida are able to purchase a Bullpen Reserved or Baseline Reserved ticket to either of the two World Baseball Classic games taking place on Tuesday, March 12 (1:00 p.m. ET & 8:00 p.m. ET) for $5, while supplies last. Fans must present their ticket from any Spring Training game at the Marlins Park Ticket Office to take advantage of the $5 ticket offer. This offer is valid for fans who have used the ticket or who possess a ticket for a future 2013 Grapefruit League game. The Second Round in Miami will feature the Dominican Republic, Italy, Puerto Rico and the United States.

In addition, all fans that come to the Marlins Park Ticket Office Monday to purchase tickets to any game of the World Baseball Classic are invited to attend the workouts free of charge. Those who purchased tickets earlier are also invited to attend. Game tickets (for any game) must be presented for entry to the workouts.

Tickets for World Baseball Classic games are available at www.worldbaseballclassic.com as well as at the Marlins Park Ticket Office.

The World Baseball Classic, which is officially sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF), will for the first time in 2013 be recognized as the official national team World Championship, with the winner being crowned the 2013 World Baseball Classic Champion and the IBAF World Champion. The World Baseball Classic is being televised by 39 international broadcasters in 14 languages in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.
