Netherlands announce four more Exhibition Games

Posted on February 21, 2013 by philipp

The Netherlands will play four more exhibition games while continuing training camp in Taichung, Taiwan. They traveled to the site of the first round of the 2013 World Baseball Classic after Tuesday’s contest against China. The team of manager Hensley Meulens resumes their warm-up schedule on Saturday (Feb. 23) with a game against an All Star team of the Taichung University. This team lost 1-7 against Australia earlier this week. On Sunday (Feb. 24) the already known clash with Cuba will follow. On Tuesday (Feb. 26) and Thursday (Feb. 28) next week games against the Industrial All Stars and the Taichung University All Stars will complete their pre-WBC schedule. On March 2 the Dutch team opens the WBC against Olympic champion Korea. Australia and Chinese Taipei are also in this group.
