2013 season in France starts on March 24

The 2013 season in the French Division I starts on the weekend of March 24 and 25. Eight teams will be in the top division in French baseball with the Toulouse Baseball Academy taking over the spot of the Pessac Panthers. Defending champion Rouen Huskies, Paris UC, Savigny Lions, Templiers Senart, Stade Toulousain, Montpellier Barracudas and Beaucaire Chevaliers return from 2012. The regular season will be played through July 7. The Challenge de France for the eight Division I teams and hosted by PUC is scheduled for May 9 to 12.
