The Namur Angels reported on a couple of former players on Thursday, which are currently playing oversees. While the American imports Jake Hummel and Greg van Sickler are in Australia, Belgian hurler Cedric Desmedt is attending Western Nebraska Community College together with Nick Vanthillo. Desmedt will join the Borgerhout Squirrels after returning back to Europe. In his third year with the Angels he had a 1-6 record with an ERA of 5.82 in nine games (7 starts). He struck out 28 and walked 38 in 38 2/3 innings.
