Project Cobb announces 2012 British NBL Leaders and Award Winners

Project Cobb has announced the leaders and award winners in the British National Baseball League and released the complete stats for all teams and players. On offense Jarrod Pretorius of the Harlow Nationals got the batting title along with the Most Valuable Batter trophy. His teammate Maikel Azcuy had the most homeruns and most RBI in the league. In pitching Roberto Almanzar, also of the Harlow Nationals, led the league in wins, ERA and strikeouts, receiving the Most Valuable Pitcher award. Gary Davison of the Southampton Mustangs got honors as Most Valuable Two-Way Player. Additionally the best fielders at each position were named:

  • C: Will Lintern (HARLOW NATIONALS)
  • 1B: Ryan Bird (HERTS FALCONS)
  • 2B: Luis Goncalves (HARLOW NATIONALS)
  • 3B: Jarrod Pretorius (HARLOW NATIONALS)
  • SS: Robbie Unsell (HERTS FALCONS)
  • OF: Cristobal Hiche (HERTS FALCONS)
  • OF: Michael Trask (BRACKNELL BLAZERS)
  • OF: Marius Urbanavicius (SOUTHAMPTON MUSTANGS)
