In the decisive third match the Cards took an early lead and blew the score open with five runs in the fifth in a 10-5 win. John Baum had four hits and three runs out of the leadoff spot for Bern. Three players had three hits apiece.

The second semi-final series the Therwil Flyers have erased a 0-2 deficit against the Embrach Mustangs and the best-of-five set will be decided next weekend in Therwil. In game three the Flyers routed the Mustangs 17-3 thanks to a 20-hit outburst. BJ Roper-Hubbert and Daniel Eichenberger each hit two homeruns, Reto Siegel and Chris Blackbee one.
