The Netherlands also won their second warm-up game against Germany in Utrecht. On Wednesday they defeated their European neighbors 8-4 after prevailing 3-1 the day before. The Dutch team scored seven of their eight runs between the fourth and the seventh.

Greg Frady used Harry Glynne, Daniel Hinz, Maurice Wilhelm, Adrian Stommel, Dominik Hartinger and Christian Decher as pitchers. Brian Farley sent Orlando Yntema, Diegomar Markwell, David Bergman, Arswhin Asjes and Berry van Driel to the mound.
